Bill Ermatinger ’86, political science, grew up in rural Baltimore County, in the (then) small town of Reisterstown. Decades later this small town background comes in handy when Ermatinger describes his work at Huntington Ingalls Industries, the largest military shipbuilding company in the U.S. and our nation’s sole builder of nuclear aircraft carriers. Allan Kittleman was elected Howard County Executive in 2014. Raising Voices: Stefanie Mavronis ’12 on her work on the Marc Steiner Show

Stefanie Mavronis ‘12, political science and media and communication studies, has been committed to social justice for a long time now, and eventually plans to pursue graduate study in public policy. But for now, she’s doing that work in a somewhat unconventional and unexpected place: a Baltimore radio station.
